Help! Essense of Australia Dress

I’m an Essense bride! Not the same dress you mentioned but I will say when my dress came in, I literally thought it was white (ordered ivory) bc it was so bright and sparkly!! I wasn’t unimpressed by my dress in the store, I loved it, but I distinctly remember saying how sparkly my dress was when it came in!

I’m a D2202 bride! I LOVE it, but I also loved it when I tried it on. It’s not sparkly at all — it does have some translucent sequins in the bodice, but nothing really all that noticeable. I am getting a new belt because I’m not a huge fan of the one that comes with it. I will say that it is definitely more white than it was in the store, but still soft! The satin is pretty shiny though. The first picture is at my first Alterations appointment (completely unaltered) and the second is the day it came in at the salon.

Side note: do these pictures look terrible to anyone else? Jeeze!

I loved the silhouette, I think the color of the fabric turned me off. I think I’m going to go back (or to a different store) and try it on again!

I also have a D2202 style dress! It’s definitly more white in person, but I actually liked the fact that it wasn’t TOO white. On mine, I’m changing the belt out for something more bling-y but also delicate. And I added an detachable skirt for the ceremony from Pronovias.

And I love my dress by the way, but it did take me going back and trying it on 3 times to know for sure it was the one... I just wasn’t that lucky bride that got “the feeling”... it took a WHILE to find this dress and then a few more weeks to fall in love with it!

That dress was one that I loved before I tried on dresses. I tried to try it on but it wasn’t available anywhere near me. I loved the simplicity of the skirt paired with the princess seams and the trailing lace on the bodice and at the end of the train. As well as the hint of sparkle from the belt. Truly beautiful
