You can decorate things to make it how you envision. Th at way you can get a blank venue and you decorate it

I’m sorry you’re feeling so down about planning. Everything wedding is so expensive, I totally get it. We’ve had to think out of the box and have asked our vendors for recommendations along the way to create the wedding we envisioned. Sometimes it can be more budget friendly to look for non-traditional venues, and sometimes you can get deals if you are flexible with date/day of the week/time of day/etc. Good luck!

I know that is frustrating but sadly that is apart of wedding planning. It is very much disappointing. You can't give up rather just keep searching for something which is affordable for you two. I know you can. I think maybe research other ways you can incorporate items for a New Orleans theme and decide which features you can afford. Also, have you considered having a small destination wedding in New Orleans.

You are not alone and eventually if you keep searching and looking for ideas you will find what you want.

I also got frustrated when touring venues, and quickly learned that there is no "perfect venue" - which can be tough to stomach when you're spending so much money! Every space has it's own pros and cons, so it's just about picking the place with the most important pros and the least costly cons!

Also there's a ton you can do with decor to transform a venue - even just tablecloths, centerpieces, and up-lighting can make the space look completely different!
