Hawaii Honeymoon?

Jorden, on September 4, 2019 at 9:21 PM Posted in Honeymoon 0 5

Hi guys, so I am a little stumped on this honeymoon topic. When would be a good time to search for tickets to Hawaii? My fiance and I can't seem to agree here; would it be better to wait a few weeks/months to go on our honeymoon or should we go right after the wedding ceremony?

If you can afford going right after then sure, go ahead. Also, you want to make sure whenever that is, that the weather will be good. My fiance and I are going to St. Lucia for our honeymoon but going Feb 2021 because of hurricane season (we're getting married Aug 2020). To suffice until then, we will be doing a weekend at Disneyland right after the wedding. You can always search tickets up to a year out. The further out, usually the better or check to see when they might have deals on flights. Good luck.

We are going the Monday after our wedding. I want to get done so that way don’t forget and push it off. And that way I’m taking pto all at the same time.

We are getting married in Hawaii so we will be on our honeymoon literally immediately after. It’s so much cheaper doing it this way. It just really depends on your budget.

    Hey there Jorden!

As the PPs mentioned, it really does depends on your budget and when would suit you best to go.

According to the WeddingWire honeymoon section (Hawaii Honeymoons) the best time to go is usually late spring (April or May) or early in fall (September or October). Costs are lower during these times and you will have to deal with fewer crowds!

Is there a particular part of Hawaii you would like to visit?

We just went to Hawaii for our honeymoon in July! We bought our tickets around 3 months early, we flew Southwest. We left for Hawaii two days after our wedding.
