Hair growing/thickening serums that actually work?

Maddie, on June 23, 2021 at 5:37 PM Posted in Fitness and Health 0 7

I used to have really beautiful thick hair, but over time it's thinned and falls out SIGNIFICANTLY (this is hereditary on my mom's side) and gotten frizzy and dull. I haven't dyed it in years, I also RARELY use heat or styling products. I take multivitamins every day. I've been tested for possible vitamin and thyroid deficiencies but everything always comes back normal. I don't know if it's stress, medication, or just age but I'd love to get a little more life in my hair before my wedding because extensions just sound like a headache.

I'm always seeing products like personalized hair care shampoo/conditioners sets, serums, supplements on IG but I'd really like to actually hear if anyone has tried them or anything else with great success. Also if it could be inexpensive and relatively low maintenance, that's be best. I'm not very good at spending a lot of time on my appearance but the hair thing really bums me out

I would suggest taking biotin and collagen supplements- these have helped me a lot.

Do not use the personalized brand Function of Beauty. Not only do they have reports of hair falling out, but they also don't give a full list of ingredients so if you have an allergy you can't check if it's in there. Also, stay away from Monet products because they also have reports of hair loss.

I've had friends use biotin supplements and they've worked well for them.

I started taking Nature's Bounty Hair Skin and Nails about a year ago and I can say it's helped with growth. I've got thin hair and it felt it wouldn't grow, this has now changed my hair is growing again. It's also done great for my nails they seem to be stronger and not break as much. I use the purple bottle.

If you are in a pinch, powder gives the appearance of thicker hair right away. Find an eyeshadow that's similar to your hair color and pack it in along any thinning or bald areas. I hope this helps!

I know this brand! my mom used it for a while, but I doubt she was ever diligent enough in taking it to give accurate results. Thanks for recommendation! How long did it take before you started to notice a difference?

I think it took almost 6 months. I also started taking two gummies twice a day. I didn't have any side effects.
