Hair and makeup trial!

Oh I love it! I think it looks awesome!! The one thing I would ask about is the highlighting on the nose and the top of the lips (I think maybe it's called the bow of the upper lip?)...I would just make sure that's something you want. The reason I mention it is because, if I understand correctly, it is more of a recent practice/method, so I would just caution that it *may* go out of style in however many years. Of course, that same thing can be said for lots of different things - go figure! Other than the possible trendiness of the highlights/iridescent stuff, I think it's a slam dunk!

I personally think the makeup is way too over the top, especially if you are someone who rarely wears makeup. The highlighter in particular is overdone.

I think the overall look, but with a lighter hand, would be really pretty. You have natural beauty and I think the makeup looks painted on and trying to make you look like someone else vs emphasizing your natural fair colors and even skin. I am a fan of less is more, particularly for women who opt to go au natural in everyday life.

Of course YOU are the bride and you get to choose what you want for your wedding day. I just feel like a full glam look is over the top for someone who isn't a regular makeup wearer. Fun for a night out, sure! But for a wedding, I firmly believe a bride should look like the best version of her authentic self.

I think you look beautiful! But for me personally, the highlights on your nose and above the lip bow is overdone (especially above the lip). I would definitely keep the highlights, but ask her to go a bit lighter on them. And also to add a little highlight to the tops of your cheek bones to even out the look and give you that beautiful “glow”.

Looks very nice. The only thing I would say is the highlighting seems a bit over the top and may be a bit shiny in pictures, especially if you don’t normally wear makeup. Just something to consider.
