Guest list - is it public?

I think it's more like when you search a name to RSVP and it's not on the list, it doesn't appear. So if your future MIL typed each name and saw they weren't there that would be how she figured it out. Seems like a waste of time on her part imo.

No but just like with my MIL, she probably searched names in the rsvp section to see if they are there

How is that did you give her access to your account or is it on the wedding wire for guest I just download it but have really had the chance to check and see

Like others mentioned, you'd have to type in each name to see whether someone is on the list. If you have them under a nickname or something then the name won't pop up unless the shorter version is spelled the same in the longer version (i.e. if you type in "Sam," it would pop up for a guest listed as "Samantha", but "Sami" wouldn't come up, and typing in "Samantha" for a guest listed as "Sam" won't pop up). I think you can also put a password on your RSVP page if you wanted to keep it to only those you want to see it too.
