I have my bridesmaids in black velvet. My fiancee went suit shopping yesterday and fell in love with a burnout black velvet paisley suit jacket. Is he going to look too matchy matchy with the bridesmaids? Or am I overthinking it since everyone is wearing black anyways?

I think it will look great! I like the way you styled the first picture, everyone looks so cohesive. The black shirts for the groomsmen is a nice touch
