Hey everyone,
I am looking around Kansas City for a venue that has an outdoor feel to it preferably with minimal outdoorsy-ness. (spider webs, cold, and bugs) The greenhouse at two rivers is a really nice example of what I am looking for. I am almost positive they will be outside my meek budget 12,000$ total. Although to me that is a huge amount of money!
Any advice on how to find a indoor/outdoor wedding venue that isnt a barn? I do not want to go indoors because me and my fiance met working at a camp on top of a mountain stargazing.
I am also worried if I go with a location with no fully indoor area that it will be hard to walk around and get privacy. My friends got married at paradise park in Missouri. While the cobweb barns terrified me it had nice pathways to walk down to a creek if you wanted to get away from it all for fifteen minutes.
I guess the real question is how do you make private secluded places in outdoor venues? I have looked into see through pop up canopy tents but I am not sure it'd actually be very nice in reality. I am going for a slightly moody stormy night theme instead of the straight up midsummer night or lunar themes.
I am from Washington and love a good camping spot or forest but have turned a bit more *cringe* glampy over the years.
