Awesome for Ohio brides! I’m very surprised that the limit is 300 I would have expected much lower!

I know it’s crazy! They said the tables must be 6 feet apart but I’m curious to see what guidelines they will put in place for social distancing?

Same. Like what about the ceremony? What about dancing? They said in the article it’s like restaurants but weddings have a lot more personal contact than just going out to eat at a restaurant

Hmm... I'm certainly curious to understand you can have a 300 person crowd size with no congregating!

Here's Governor DeWine's tweet: "Catering and banquet centers can reopen under similar guidelines as restaurants effective June 1. Guidelines include 6 feet between tables and no congregating. For the immediate future, crowd size will be limited to 300."

I’m thinking congregating at the bar or in one area, people probably have to stay around their table lol

Would your wedding be all you dreamt it to be if dancing with a DJ is important to you? That is what I’m looking forward to the Most. If I can’t have dancing and a dj, I do not want my wedding in July. And is grandma going to wear a mask? And feel like she needs to?

Our grandparents have all passed away. I still have a few months to see where it goes and I just want to get married and celebrate. I do not want to wait another year. We want to try for a baby soon after as well and I don’t want to have a belly if it’s next year.

On second thought, I heard you have to stay seated...there probably can’t be group photos. The most fun weddings I’ve been to had dancing and we have a big cultural dance that is a part of weddings. Smiley sad I didn’t think this through. Back to the waiting game. Plan B is get married with a wedding ceremony with family present. I still want it to be special so I’ll have my hair and makeup done with the photographer...maybe do a family dinner after and even have our own fun with dancing but reschedule the big party next year.

We still have under 5 mo to go last to open casinos and cedar point. If cases continue to drop they have got to allow dancing. They cant keep us prisoners ! I am having my wedding regardless. Soft hold on 7/31/21 celebration only. Which I kinda dont see the point in even having. Would rather just save the money. We have out tasting 6/25 so it will be interesting to see what the venue says

They’re allowing zoos, movie theaters, parks, etc. to open...lol this social distancing thing at a wedding isn’t going to matter if things are opening. I mean they can social distance I guess but it is still possible to catch it regardless.

Hopefully by July 1 we will be okay. Venue's and business owners are speaking out to officials. We have time. There has to be a way to do it safely.

Thank you for sharing this! There’s some hope, I want to make a decision by mid August if possible. Maybe wearing a mask while “congregating” out of their seat, provide extra sanitizer, and the separated dance floors. Lol who knows if that will work since it’s hard to monitor people but at least there would be something.
