For our wedding in August 2020 my future brother in law agreed to officiate the wedding. Me and FH think this will be so fun and personable. I'm wondering if anyone else in WA used or has been an officiant who was ordained online and which websites are legal, legit sites and not just a scam.

Hey there, Shay! That was nice of your FBIL! It will definitely be fun and personable.
Personally, I would recommend you reach out to your local county clerk or courthouse to get more information on having a family member ordained. There is so much conflicting information online. I advise going directly to the source for information. At the end of the day, you want to ensure the wedding is legal!
