Getting ordained

So one of our closes friends will be our officiant, but she still needs to be ordained is there a good websure to do it, for Colorado.

    Technically she doesn’t even have to be in Colorado. You guys could sign your own marriage certificate. Colorado is very relaxed in that regard.

    I would recommend you speak to the county clerk or relevant official to get more info on how to get a friend ordained to ensure the marriage, once performed, in fully legal. As the process can change from state to state, it's always best to check in with the officials Smiley smile

    In Colorado, you can "self-solemnize" so only you and your husband sign the marriage certificate. Your friend doesn't need to be ordained.

    The above is correct... in Colorado you don't have to be ordained but if you friend still wants to become ordained anyways look into Universal Life Church.... she'll be ordained in less then 30 minutes all done from the comfort of your own home.
