Get Away Weekend

I'm doing the crazy thing and going off to play in the woods the weekend before our wedding. It was nerve wracking trying to get everything together at the last minute but I will be surrounded by my tribe in a place that brings me such peace. FW will come up for a day to see everyone and spend time together which is so sweet! If I could plan a bachelorette weekend it would be similar to this weekend's fest so I'm looking at it as that in a way. I can't wait to get out there and just be!!!!

    FW practically threw me at my friend who is also going and told her I NEED this. She's not wrong at all. My camping trips are my reset. Now I'm just excited to leave the office and get out there today!

    Yes!! Enjoy every minute! I did something similar— my bachelorette was the weekend before the wedding, just me and my 3 bffs renting a house and hanging out and it was the best thing I could’ve possibly done! I was anxious leaving town so soon before the wedding but it was such a great relax and recharge and sooooo nice to have a whole weekend and not do A N Y wedding prep/planning at all.

    You are giving me hope. I told a work friend about doing this and she looked at me oddly and said I was insane. I felt insane last night packing up my car with supplies, but it is going to be so nice being out there. Thanks for the supportive words.
