Georgia Bride but Semi-destination Wedding; Advice?

Micah, on July 24, 2020 at 12:24 PM Posted in Georgia Planning 0 2

Hi All, and congrats on everyone's proposals and weddings. I have an interesting spin on my wedding details. My fiance and I live in two separate states: (Georgia-Me and South Carolina-My Fiance). We have decided to have a semi-destination wedding (Myrtle Beach) and we have a good time frame to plan (Our wedding date is April 22, 2022). Since my proposal back in March of this year. I have pretty much scowered venues and other vendors in and around South Carolina to choose which venue and vendors we are going to use. My MOH lives in SC and one of my BM and FG. The others live in GA. I am thinking the challenge for me is going to be organizing a wedding from a distance alothough it shouldn't be too tough( I say that now of course). I am a very organized person but of course things happen. Has/Is anyone else going through a similar situation?

That shouldn't be too difficult at all Micah! Especially because everything is within weekend travel distance in case you need to do something in person!

I planned my NC wedding from DC, so you should definitely be able to do this! I also hired a local wedding planner and had an awesome coordinator at my venue which was a big help. 🌟

Great, thank you so much Lynnie. I am considering a wedding planner but so far looking at our budget we might not be able to afford one. We'll see. Thank you for your advice.
