I did some searching and it looks like some dry cleaners can preserve it, but I'm not sure if that's exactly the same idea you're going for. I also found a discussion thread where another community member wanted to frame their dress. Maybe you could look through the responses and see if it inspires your next plan of attack. I hope that helps a bit!
