Framed wedding dress?

Kayla, on January 4, 2021 at 10:29 AM Posted in Married Life 0 7

I've been wanting to frame my wedding dress for about a year now, but the biggest thing stopping me is the pricetag. Even if it's worth it, I can't spend $1k on framing my dress to display. Has anyone framed theirs after the wedding? Better yet, has anyone DIYed a frame for their wedding dress?

Do you not want to get it preserved? It would be much cheaper than getting it framed if the framing costs $1000.

Not a frame, but my grandmother has her dress on a mannequin and has for as far back as I can remember.

I am planning to diy. Shadow box are expensive. I plan to buy a glass display, which is half the cost, and put my wedding memoirs in it. The dress, the accessories, the sand bottle, etc.

I haven't done this myself, but I do always love how it looks! If you do a quick google search there are a few different things that come up. I'd recommend looking there or on Pinterest for some ideas!!
