Hi Karley! Welcome to WeddingWire and congrats on your engagement!

I live here and have a few ideas for you that might help! Smiley smile

In Flagstaff, Arizona's SnowBowl is a really pretty, forest scenery spot! I had a friend get married there recently and it was absolutely breathtaking. You can learn more at their website, here!

Some other ideas might be parks and nature preserves in the Coconino County National Forest area and Northern Arizona region. You can learn more, here, and see about potential permits to do an outdoor wedding here.

Other areas to look into are Sedona, the White Mountain area, Heber, Pine Top, Lakeside, Payson, Prescott, and the Verde River Valley areas specifically for the beautiful forest backdrop you're looking for! Smiley heart

It's probably too late for the OP but, if anyone is searching this subject, check out Highlands Center for Natural History in Prescott. We struggled a long time to find a forest setting in AZ and even passed on this location at first visit. The place is quiet nice but we didn't like the amplitheater for the ceremony. Instead we're doing it in the Forest Play area with the Stonewall, metal gate and entrance arch (with flowers covering the words) as the altar. The view from there is beautiful and the reception Ramada, also with lovely forest scenery (only seats 72) is just down the path.
