Food for bride & groom

The biggest thing being told to my fiancé and I is that we won’t be able to eat at reception much and to designate someone to ensure there is food for us to take afterward. If anyone else has something like this that they’re doing, I’m just curious if you’re bringing leftover containers for your venue to fill or if you’ve already talked to your venue about it, and they are supplying boxes. We have our meeting with our venue next month, and it’s one of the questions I plan to ask them, but I was just generally curious at this point.

Often the caterers will serve only the number of guests that are at the wedding. The leftovers then are used for meals for the staff. You could see what they would agree to arrange. Another option would be where some guests keep some of the food aside for you. In all cases, someone has to be ready to make sure your food is not taken away after the dinner.
