Flowers - Splurge or Save?

Whether you have decided on daisies or roses, flowers can have a really big impact on your decor! But fantastic floral arrangements can also lead to a frightening bill...

Are you saving or splurging on flowers?

Splurge. Florals were really important to us, but I still think we got an amazing deal by going with a semi-DIY option from a local florist.

Save. Little to no flowers real or fake will be at my wedding. I'm allergic to real ones so those are out altogether.

Save. We set a modest budget and hired a florist who could get what we wanted within that budget. Our flowers were still gorgeous but didn't cost an arm and a leg.

Splurged! Our venue came with a 2 dozen rose bouquet and I paid to upgrade to a customized sunflower and purple lizzy bouquet with matching MOH mini bouquet. Totally worth it

Saveing by ordering them to be delivered to our house and then having my (thankfully gifted) grandmother assemble them. I want a LOT of flowers.

Save. Not doing a ton of actual flowers, mostly greenery.

Big SAVE. We are DIY'ing. We are using fresh herbs for center piece so no real flowers there. Probably a few flowers for decorating the arch and around the inside of the venue. Fiance will go to a store and pick out my bouquet either that morning or the day before. He picks out the best flowers for me.

Save. I love flowers, but not enough to spend a ton. Fake flowers are fine by me, though a real bouquet is a must!

Save. We are still having some flowers, but I wanted to include a lot of greenery in those arrangements instead of predominately flowers.

Saved, but totally wish I could splurge I love flowers, their softness and smell but they are insane with costs when you add wedding to quote, lol. We will have some real flowers but mostly the foam flowers and greens

Saved! I ordered bouquets for myself and my 6 bridesmaids, corsage for my FMIL, and 8 bouts for about $350 through Somethingborrowedblooms.com. they're a company that rents gorgeous silk flowers. I just couldn't fathom spending thousands on flowers.

Splurge! Our budget was around $7K for flowers. Our florist actually came in under budget at just over $6K so we saved a bit but it is still a large flower budget.

Save! Neither of us are huge flower people so we're going the cheapest route and doing minimal flowers and all artificial.
