Flower girl dress

Chelsey, on November 26, 2020 at 8:54 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 10
Hey everyone I’m getting married 10/2/2021 my colors are burgundy, blush, ivory and gold accents

I’m thinking about adding the color terracotta but didn’t know if it would look weird ?
My wedding dress is ivory/champagne/ desert
I can’t decide what color to get my flower girl Blush or ivory ?
My bridesmaids are wearing burgundy and rose gold
My question is what color should my flower girl dress be and if I should add the terracotta in with my colors ?
I feel my colors aren't really “fall” like or I’m just being dramatic lol

I personally think you already have enough colors so I would have her wear one of the colors you already have.

Yes I think you’re thinking this but yes it’ll go with your other colors. I think having the flower girl in a blush colored dress will tie in with everything & look super cute! You don’t have to stick with the traditional seasonal colors. We’re getting married in April but I definitely don’t want pastels! Our colors are red, charcoal and cream (he’s a firefighter so we had to play off that).

I think her having in a ivory dress with a blush bow or ribbion tied around her waist would look gorgeous but you have enough colors

Lighter and less orangy pinks than terra cotta would be nicer. Blush, ballerina, cotton candy petal, peach blossom are all around this year, and look nice with your colors and with silvery sage green. If you want a nod to the season, have her give out bunches/ or scatter, mums or other fall flowers.

I think you have plenty of colors already that maybe she could wear a blush or ivory dress. Personally I don’t think the terracotta would mix well with the colors you have already chosen even though it’s a beautiful color.

Don't let the season make you second guess yourself. If those are the colors you want, then use them. I have the same colors as you for my wedding and mine is in July. I personally just love the way they look together and I'm not big on the bright summer stuff. It's okay to do your own thing. I would also have the flower girl in an ivory dress with something blush to support like hair piece or ribbon on her dress for that little pop.

Your gold flowers look like what most "terra cotta" (and similar names) swatches are. That said, I would pick a flowergirl dress to match your bridesmaids' colors.

I was just dividing clumps of flowering bulbs, multiplying them to sell next year, then propagating some of our best blooming mums , taking cuttings. And it occurred to me as I was making up picture labels, for all
of our latest into fall blooming Asian lilies, and best fall mums, that they are the colors you were saying were not really fall colors. Everyone thinks of fall leaf colors, red, orange, gold, yellow, rust. But in fact in our latest bloomers, in the fall garden are
