    Season: Spring 2019
Ceremony and Reception Location+Catering: DoubleTree Oceanpoint Beach Resort and Spa
    Planner/Florist: MEI Floral & Planning
DJ, lights, videographer and photographer: Complete Weddings + Events

Total so far $14,700, especting to pay 1-3k more. Hopefully not but original budget was 25k, so we are in good shape.

I'll do a follow up after the wedding next year and let you know how the vendors were to work with.

    Pretty exciting!

Loveeeee Key Largo! That's going to be gorgeous, keeping my fingers crossed for you weather-wise! I went to Key West last year for New Years and the weather was awesome, so hoping it'll be the same for you Smiley smile

Well that gives me hope! Love the New Years idea, it was too expensive for us and guests to attend.

    Mainsail Resort Destin, Florida!

Crystal Beach Weddings will be doing everything for us.

Turquoise and Coral are our wedding colors, on the beach (Ceremony and Reception).

We wanted to keep it 50 people or less, we are up to 75!

Per our contract with Crystal Beach Weddings, it was a $300 fee to book Mainsail Resort "venue fee" and we had to stay at the resort.

Total Cost, after my dress and personalized decor, $12,000. Our budget was between $10,000 and $15,000. It is still cheaper to do it here in Texas!

    Tentative Date- June 20,2020

Siesta Key Beach, FL hopefully outdoor

We are from NY so destination wedding for us, we are going to check out some of the companies that do everything for you for one set price and go from there- hoping the actual ceremony costs less than $5k.

Also if anyone knows of any connections in the location for rental houses - that can sleep an army like 16-18 people I would greatly appreciate the help.

    Date: June 8, 2019

Ceremony and reception will be at the Adam's Estate in Lake Alfred

Everything will be outside for the ceremony and in a tent for the reception so hopefully the Florida rain holds out around that time! Venue is costing $5,000 which is great as when this location is finished being built I expect the price will sky rocket. We are starting to nail down catering and photography which is costing the most expensive apart from the venue itself.

Cant wait to start making decor!

    Season: Winter! January 26th, 2019!

Where are you getting married? We're getting married in St. Augustine, FL the nations oldest city! Our ceremony will be in a church and the reception at a big white looking southern house!

Our colors are steel blue and navy with a lot of white and greenery around the venue!

It will also still be night of lights so the whole city will be lit up in millions of lights! You can see them from space!

    Catering: MOJOs Old City BBQ

    Cake: Irma Kay Cakes

    160 guests!

Are you doing an outdoor or indoor wedding ceremony & reception? Everything will be indoor because we live in NE FL and it gets rather chilly in January! I also did not want to think twice about weather on my wedding day so we played it safe with everything indoors.

Are you using any fun local touches? Our bar is stocked with local wine from San Sebastian Winery and we are also using a local brewery for some of our beer!

Coquina Beach in Bradenton, barefoot on the beach ceremony, reception at one of the beach’s pavilions.
Catering most likely by Sonny’s BBQ.
Local touches? Eh, probably not. Wind in my hair and sand on my feet are enough I think.

Key Largo Lighthouse - Coral Beach
All outdoors, but with a tent for dinner
Cost: I'm embarrassed to say, but it's a three day affair on a private beach and includes on-premise lodging for 24 of us. Kicks off with a Welcome/New Year's Eve party and ends with a brunch and boating/watersports day. $70k-ish? It's actually a bargain for everything we're doing.
Colors: Navy, lime green, ivory & silver/grey
    100-120 guests expected
    Planner: Cate Tenopir Events
    Caterer: Key Largo Conch House
    Flowers ; Designs by Darenda
Photography and Videography: The Wedding Traveler

You made me feel so much better about my budget Smiley smile We rented out the whole property so there is a larger cost there than most venues. They are charging us a site fee on top of the property rental fee but we make the money back in the bungalows because guests will be paying for their lodging (I wish I could afford to put up all of my friends)

I'm shocked that we don't have any overlapping vendors! I thought that Key Largo was so small that everyone used the same people

    Venue: Largo Resort

    Planner: NA

    Caterer: Chef Drew's Catering

    Flowers: Studio South

    Photography/Videography: Michelle Lawson

    Rentals: Keys Audio
