Floral and services fees? Help!

Our wedding will be in Houston TX and we have talked to 3 different florists. I couldn’t believe how expensive florals could be! Anyways, we really like a floral designer, her designs are phenomenal, and she understands our vision effortlessly. Here is a summary of the quote she gave us, most looks good but the services fees scare me, 38% ! The other two florists charge higher for flowers but 18% services fees. Is this reasonable ?

    When it says things like "4 pedestals = $200" - is that per piece or total? That changes things.

    This is a ton of time and work on the florist’s part. I think her fee is very reasonable.

    Have you thought about reusing any of your florals? For example, we're having two arches from our ceremony be moved inside to our sweetheart table and a fireplace inside. We're also having arrangements in the aisle that will be moved inside to the tables for cocktail hour. Not sure if this is applicable to your wedding, but it helped save us a ton.

    I think it's reasonable. I wouldn't look at the fee as a percentage, it's likely a fixed cost for the amount of work going in. Maybe just keep your tip closer to 15%.

    Such a great suggestion Haley!! At my wedding we reused the 7 bridesmaid bouquets for reception centerpieces, that definitely helped save some money:
