It's the only song my FH knows how to play on guitar so he would play and sing it to me all the time when we first started dating and it just kind of became our song lol

My fiancé has had basically zero input in the song choices and I wanted to make sure he liked our first chance song so I’ve chosen handmade by bexar bc he said it makes him think of me. If left to my own devices I would choose in your eyes by Peter Gabriel.

I wanted "if we were vampires" by Jason Isbell but it's honestly a little bit of a downer because it's essentially about hoping you aren't the one to be left behind when your soul mate dies. I've been on the fence about secretly learning that or "Flagship" (same artist) on guitar and serenading him at the wedding. My Step Dad did that to my mom on their wedding, but I've never sang in front of anyone x.x

This one has been TOUGH for my FH and I and we've changed it countless times. I think so far we've had 4 different songs selected but ultimately settled on A Thousand Years Part 2 by Christina Perri and Steve Kazee. I'm a huge Twilight fan and he also loves the song. Most people use it to walk down the aisle to, but he said he's never heard it as a first dance so that's what we were going with.

Our other songs were: I Don't Dance by Lee Brice, I Can't Help Falling in Love by Elvis, Free by Zac Brown Band, and Beauty and the Beast by Ariana Grande and John Legend.

We went with Millionaire by Chris Stapleton. We spent a whole night figuring out our first dance song.
