Sup Fam...so IT'S FINALLY OVER!! After so much stress and lack of sleep we got married! Everything went off pretty well and it was crazy to see my vision actually come to life when I didn't think it actually would. There was no way we could have done this without our families, we had so many people helping us with costs and decorations. His friends came to help set up, and tear everything down. We started with a 200 or so guest list but with covid and our vaccine requirement i think we probably had about 140-150 people there which was PERFECT. Los Angeles also lifted the indoor mask mandate THE DAY BEFORE our wedding - which was so nice. Everyone told us they had a great time. The only draw back was his rowdy a$# friends got us BOTH hammered and we ended up with our heads in the toilet about an hour apart from each other x,x. I was initially upset about it, but after hearing that neither of us caused much of a scene and that it was towards the end of the night and that everyone had an amazing time, i'm ok with it. I think it was very on brand for both of us and it's a funny story to tell for 2 people who don't take themselves too seriously.
We had a small vendor list since i did most of the stuff myself but here it is for anyone in the LA area. We were EXTREMELY happy with everyone. The venue was a pain to deal with but it's part of the city so i guess it comes with the territory. Also it was crazy affordable so i guess you get what you pay for. All in all i think we stayed under the 20k dollar range, which for our city and the amount of people we had is VERY cheap.
