St. Augustine, FL and Gulf Shores, AL are our favorite beaches if you’re a beach person. We drove 16.5 hours to see Niagara Falls and stopped in a different place every night for our honeymoon. We did some really cool things along the way and got to see a totally different part of the country.

Niagara Falls is on our list! If you don’t mind sharing I would love to know some of the things you did or saw? This was my top choice but friends who have been before said we would get bored spending our whole week there. Would you agree?

We’re from south GA (on the GA/FL line). We left Monday and stayed in Charlotte, NC. The next night we stayed at a ski resort in Snowshoe, WV that was “closed” for the season. From the ski resort we went to Cass Scenic Railroad State Park. The state park was one of our favorite things we did! That night we stayed in Meadville, PA and ate at an amazing Italian restaurant. The next morning we got up and headed to Niagara Falls. We stopped in Eerie, PA on the way to see Lake Eerie and then continued to the Falls. I definitely don’t think there’s enough to do to stay a whole week. However, you could spend a day on the American side and a day on the Canadian side (gotta have a passport). Our trip was very last minute and super unorganized but we had so much fun! Sorry this is so long lol

Also, you could definitely make a whole day out of Eerie, PA which isn’t that far from Niagara Falls.

    Napa & San Francisco, CA
    San Diego, CA
    Orlando, FL
    Vegas, NV
    New Orleans, LA
Park City, UT ( if you like winter sports but it’ll be expensive because it’s high-season)

Hi and congrats!! I've been to Niagra twice. From what I've seen, there's 1 long strip of attractions, the actual Falls and thats about it. However Niagra On The Lake is near. There are wineries there. My friend went there for her honeymoon and enjoyed it. Also Toronto is about 1.5 hours from there. You could also drive up there. I love Toronto! One last thing, a friend of mine just got back from Rhode Island for their honeymoon (not sure what part of the state). She enjoyed it.
