Father Daughter Dance

So I have been searching for WEEKS for a father daughter dance. My Dad likes CCR/Pink Floyd/Rush I like all of those things but cant find a song in that mix that would work. I like Placebo/Smashing Pumpkins/Pearl Jam and not finding a lot in that genre either. I considered Tonight tonight by Smashing Pumpkins but I'm not sure he'd go for it. I HATE the same 10-15 songs on all the lists. Butterfly kisses, daughters, anything country, father and daughter all that sappy stuff is wildly out of my happy place for music and does not rep our relationship at all. Sadly every single list I've found online has failed me.

Now I see the "let your dad decide" comments that people are making however my dad has recently found religion and I am not looking to get into a fight with him at my wedding. I just want a dang song that doesn't cause drama or make me spend 3-6 minutes of my wedding trying not to vom on my $800 dress.

Any thoughts?

    First of all, bless you for the alternative suggestions. After all this time it's just beautiful to read different song titles.

    Secondly im so gonna try to talk him into just breathe, that song is gorgeous. Never even crossed my mind. you're an angel.

    I'm definitely more into rock/alternative types of music and looked at all of these when I went thru it. Glad i could give you some new ideas!

    My stepdad and I are dancing to "She's a Rainbow" by the Rolling Stones. My dad picked a generic wedding dance song, I had tried to steer him away from but I let him choose. My stepdad and I have much more similar taste in music.
