If money and time weren't an issue, I'd love to do either a tour around Europe (visiting 3-5 countries) or a couple weeks in Hawaii to visit each one of the Hawaiian Islands!

I was going to say a few weeks in Italy and France, touring, drinking, and eating, but then you showed me the overwater bungalows, and now I can't decide!! We are actually going a week in the Caribbean, so kinda close

Yes! Which countries do you think you'd pick? It's a toss up for me, I lived in Italy for a short while, so I'd love to take my husband to see all the places I love most there, but then the South of France is somewhere I've never been and would love to visit! I've gone to Greece and it's SO beautiful and the people are so welcoming and lovely, so that might have to be on the list too, if money is no object.. this is the thing, isn't it? Do you go back to places you know you love and will really enjoy, or take a risk going somewhere new that you might love even more!

View Quoted Comment There are so many places I want to go! If I had to pick, Switzerland, Italy, Germany, Spain, and France would probably be my top 5 in Europe, though I'd be open to anywhere. I've visited both Germany and Switzerland before, and would love to go back! Definitely a tough call whether to revisit places I've already been or go somewhere new. I think maybe revisiting 1-2 places I've already been, and having the rest be places I haven't been, would be a good mix. What would you do? Revisit places you've already been and love? Or go somewhere new?

That sounds amazing! my honeymoon was super epic but it was kind of something i felt like we could have gone anytime on vs something like a bungalow in bora bora feels more once in a lifetime [especially because i hear it's super expensive]

I think I'd do a mix! I think I'd do at least 1 totally new place I'd never been, 1 place I absolutely loved and wanted to return to, and 1 place I had been close to/spent a short time, but hadn't really dived into.

I think for me Capri is a stand out - I'd rent somewhere really fantastic and stay there about a week. I'd also probably want some time in Tuscany - I've never stayed in the Tuscan hills because to be honest without a car it's a bit painful to travel around, so I'd hire a driver this time and really enjoy being there in a beautiful villa.

And then... hmm. I've never been to Spain or Portugal, so maybe one of those, or the South of France, since I've never been there either!
I also think I'd go visit some of my family when I was in the UK, since we don't get the chance to visit often, introduce my new husband, stay in a bunch of castles and stately homes on the way just for fun!

Yes, I know what you mean, I'd prefer a shorter, more luxurious, once-in-a-lifetime type trip for my honeymoon!

This is such a fun thread One of our places would be Italy. We'd go in a heartbeat! The scenery is stunning, and we're big foodies so there would be no end of fantastic places to eat.

I have always wanted to go to New Zealand. That would be my dream, 10+ days over there in that magical place. My fiance is very outdoorsy so he would love hiking and all of the fun adventuring we would get to do. I would still love to go, maybe before kids, so hopefully they start letting people back into their country soon...
