Family - Remembering Loved One

For the ceremony or reception, some people have kept a space set aside for remembering a family member who has died. I think usually a picture and a reserved chair. This could be done in the rehearsal dinner too.

Perhaps you'd feel comfortable telling a nice story and marking that you're missing her at the rehearsal dinner. I would check with family to make sure they'd be ok with that.

So sorry for your loss. You can honor your grandmother in any way you feel comfortable. You can put out photos of her , you can get a nice locket and put her photo inside, Etsy sells photo charms that you can add to your bouquet or pin on a piece of clothing you are wearing, you can serve her fave dish, dessert or drink, or maybe have her favorite flowers out on the table. You do what will make you feel good, she ll be with you in your heart the whole day
