I mean this depends on your risk level and whether your guests are ok with it.
There are lots of ways to have a safe party, if people are vaccinated already, if people would be ok wearing masks, if people would be ok getting tested or if people would be ok if there are no precautions at all. You said your family says no, but have you spoken with the people that would actually be invited?

This is really just all about the comfort level of those attending said party. If they’re okay with it than you should proceed, regardless of what other people have to say about it. We’ve been getting together with a small group of our friends pretty regularly since just before Thanksgiving and we’re still also spending time with our immediate family. No one in our circle that we spend time with has tested positive for Covid at any point.

Frist off it's TOTALLY YOUR wedding not theirs! You should do you to the best of your ability & keeping in tune with your FH.

Personally I am not having either a "shower" or a Bachelorette Party he isn't having a Bachelor party either. We are trying to stay "covid responsible" (despite things starting to reopen)~ we only invited 50 (including a hand full of kids) we don't even have 20 RSVP's back (we are inside 60 days to our wedding).

BUT, the bottom line is you have to do YOU! If you are going to regret not having a bachelorette party then have one (I would keep it small, JMHO)... Talk to you MOH &/or bridal party to gage what their comfort level is & go forward with what feels right.

I think so! like everyone said, it depends how comfortable everyone attending is and how you can make it safer. my bff got married last year and we had her bachelorette bridal shower weekend in august 2020... that was VERY covid during then but we did hers at home too. we just did a painting thing altogether, which was easy.

For something that lowkey, I think you could go through with it. Not to get too personal, but are you and most of your guests vaccinated? If you're all vaccinated, by all means go for it. I think people will still make their choices based on what they're comfortable with, but I think you could definitely do something small and safe at home. Good luck!
