Luke and I are so excited to be planning our wedding for this May. We got engaged on 12/25/18 right before he left to serve in the US Army in Hohenfels, Germany. The pandemic really messed up our time together in 2020 since he was not able to travel back to the USA at all. We last saw each other in person in July 2019. We are so grateful for being able to communicate via video and telephone during this past year. We will be so glad once he is back stateside while continuing to serve in the US Army. We have had a 7 hour time difference which also made communication timing difficult with my school and work schedule as well as his. However we have gotten to be great at talking to each other during this time which is really important for couples that want to succeed. It will be a treat to be in the same time zone or just one hour different at the most!
