Europe honeymoon help!

You could consult a travel agent or those packages you see on like Groupon getaways and tours. but I've found it's cheaper to do it yourself even if it's more trouble.
So usually I'd like to think it's cheaper in the winter because it's so cold aha. I went country hopping in Europe for 2.5 weeks and I spent around 3-4 days in each country.

Hi there! First, Europe is amazing and you will LOVE it. I can't speak for France, but I have been to both Italy and Spain (both within the last year and a half). When I went to Italy, we spent about 3 days in each city (3 in Venice, 3 in Florence, 4 in Rome with a day trip to Pompeii). I would say we got a good idea of the city and that we felt like we got to do everything we wanted (though more is always nice lol). When I went to Spain, we spent about 4 days in each city (4 in Madrid and 4 in Barcelona). Travel by train between each was super easy and relatively inexpensive. I haven't traveled between countries via train, but I know others who have who had good things to say. There are also budget airlines that fly cheap between countries, but no one wants to spend their whole trip in the airport dealing with luggage and regulations! As far as time of year to go, obviously during the summer it's going to be busier and prices will reflect that. However, I went to Italy during February and Spain during March and still found both pleasant. When I was in Italy, they actually got snow in Rome for the first time in 50 years, so even though that trip was mostly cold, we still had a blast. For our honeymoon, we are doing 4 days in Lisbon, Portugal and then 7 in Tenerife, Spain. Happy to answer any questions you have and I hope this helped! You will have a BLAST!

I will second this. We were all traveled out by the time we got to Rome during my Italy trip after just city hoping. Think about how much time you want to spend at the airport/on a train or bus. It could easily eat up a good chunk of your honeymoon.
