Engagement shoot locations

Hey Adwoa!! How exciting to be planning your engagement shoot! What style photography do you want to have? Have you thought about looking into some local museums or libraries for a photoshoot space? Are there any historic buildings that have a special place in your heart?

If your photographer is local, I would definitely recommend asking for their input as they will probably know some great locations that they have previously worked!

I’ll be taking mine at the National Gallery of Art this December. Coldness is a major factor in deciding to do an indoor shoot for us.

Some thing I do is I would stalk photos taken from these museums using the location tag on Instagram to get an idea of where in the museum I’d like to shoot. I feel that might save me some time during the actual engagement shoot.
