Engagement shoot displays on wedding day

No I don't think it would be weird, but I honestly don't recall ever attending a wedding where they had their engagement photos on display. The only time I've seen engagement photos used is on save the dates and wedding invitations. Where are you thinking of displaying them?

Another option could be putting those photos on your wedding website where guests will see them when they visit your site.

I actually attended 3 weddings recently and they had photos on display. They just had it at the entry way

I don’t think it would be weird. People probably wouldn’t even think about the clothes you have on in the picture as it relates to the season/month your wedding is in. We used one of our engagement photos on the welcome sign at the entryway to the ceremony.

I usually see a table in the entry with some pictures of the bride and groom at various stages of their lives, including the engagement pic. Usually it’s bride on one end of the table and groom on the other, starting with individual shots of childhood and growing up, then some couple pics, then the big engagement photo in the middle. Since it’s pics from all stages of life, I’d think nothing of out of season clothing!

A bride recently posted photos from her wedding and they had a couple framed engagement pictures next to their guest book. I thought that was a great place to put them.
