Engagement pics help!

My FH wasn’t looking forward to getting our pictures done, but our photographers were great about having us do things that weren’t posed and were more natural. By the end of the session, FH was definitely more relaxed and showing off his goofy side. I’d let your photographer know about your concerns; they’ll probably have some tricks up their sleeve to help him feel more comfortable. (Photos included of said FH).

My FH hates taking photos, or really being the center of attention, and he ended up having a BLAST at our engagement photos shoot! I told him what to expect, some poses we could do, and what to do if he was ever uncomfortable. Break it down piece by piece for your FH. Maybe let him pick his outfits so he could feel comfortable and confident in what he's wearing (we did this, and now those outfits are his go to for when we go out). Maybe show him some photos from pinterest of your inspiration so he can know what to expect. And maybe award him with Chipotle after 🤷🏼‍♀️ have fun!!

We picked a location that meant a lot for both of us but that he was very comfortable at. I think it calmed his nerves some just knowing the location!

My FH hates pictures in general, but I managed to get him to be comfortable after several pictures. Our photographer was good about getting us to be goofy and silly with each other, which helped him relax and have fun.
