Engagement photo outfit!?

So we are having some “engagement” photos done on Wednesday night, our wedding is September 14 of this year, so these are basically nice photos for us, we are planning to include our dog in a few, but not planning to include them on STDs or anything. They were included in the package, and I think it’s important to get to know the photographer and work out nerves of being photographed.

That being said, I can’t decide what to wear! I kind of want to wear the dress I wore to our shower (white one pictured), or maybe the flora print one? Or something else! Any suggestions?! We are going to a park, it’s supposed to be like 90 out haha

    The blue dress is beautiful, but I can see that getting a little warm with the sleeves. What time are you taking your pictures? Our photographer cautioned us against wearing too much white as it's difficult to pick up on details/get the lighting right. I ended up opting for a long chiffon skirt similar in color to the blue dress and a flowy white jumpsuit on top. Can you go somewhere along that option?

    It was so hot out when we did our engagement photos! I wore a white dress from amazon! It was inexpensive and comfortable.

    I love the floral dress! It is gorgeous! If it wasn't for the heat, I would say that one in a heartbeat but since it'll be in the 90's the white dress may be the best way to go!

    Actually, maybe bring both! Start in the long dress for a few shots till it gets too uncomfortable and then switch to the white dress.

    I honestly might just wear the floral dress you guys... its going to be 6:45 - 7:45, so the sun will be going down... I can manage right? haha

    They are both really pretty. I would take both and get some in each dress. Lots of people do multiple outfits.

    Also for any of you who live the floral one, I bought it from an online boutique called “Pink Lily Boutique, I think it’s only $44! I’m 5’2” and bought a small, it’s the first time I’ve ever bought a long dress that is the perfect length! Highly recommend them!

    I love both. But I really love that blue dress! Also, if your wedding dress is white, I probably wouldn’t choose a white dress for your engagement photos also. That will end up being a lot of photos with you in a white dresses 🤣

    They're both pretty dresses! Would it be possible to do an outfit change and wear both for some pictures?

    Where will you be taking the photos? Does one of the dresses fit with the theme/style more than the other?

    I would recommend the blue dress or something similar without the sleeves. My photographer said that white dresses are beautiful but they tend to reflect light onto the others face and makes the photos not turn out as well! I was unsure what to wear to my session so I honestly just texted my photographer and asked her opinion!
