Hiiiii,
I got engaged a few weeks ago to the love of my life and we have been talking about Hawaii for a possible elopement place/honeymoon. We havent decided officially if we are inviting immediate family and friends or just the two of us. Either way, we will have a casual backyard reception when we get back. We want to look at some cost efficient beach ceremonies/vow renewals that will be in budget as we want most of our money to go to us honeymooning and enjoying the island. Something simple, intimate, short and sweet! We are going to have a nice dinner and hotel that night but mainly abnb stay, exploring the sites, hitting the beach and enjoying vacation.
How far out did you guys start planning?
Did you open it to immediate family and close friends? or just the two?
Is there anyway to avoid the pricey ceremonies? as we want something simple and cost efficient.
Im thinking it may be cheaper to just hire the officiant and photographer separately from a package and do a really nice abnb.
Also, have you guys found any reasonable plane tickets? I saw RT for about $900 which isnt bad at all. We are looking at the first week of June 2020 right before it gets super busy ..and still have summer vibes so we can snorkel. lol
What are you guys doing for your ceremonies?
Ideas, tips to save money on the ceremony portion?
Let me know! Im reading through the threads too! CONGRATS to you all!
