Emcee/mc without the Dj??

What are we doing to find an MC if we don’t want a full blown DJ? We will have speakers and microphones and a laptop for any music we want so don’t really feel the need for a DJ. We also aren’t big dancers and mostly just want background music. However, we want someone to make announcements, have people head in certain directions, lead the bouquet toss, etc. What do we do? Most MCs are saying we have to also hire them as a DJ and we can’t find anyone under $1000 in our area. If anyone knows someone that would like this gig please reach out! 10/1/25
