Dress issue

Ashlei, on March 16, 2024 at 6:30 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 2
So I purchased a dress the first week of December. I called this last week to see if there’s an eta on its arrival as it’s been a few months and they told me mid august to sept! We are getting married the first week of Oct. 9-10 months turn around cannot be normal on purchasing a dress can it?! I don’t think I’ll have enough time for alterations! I do not have the budget to go out and purchase another expensive dress and am so torn on what to do here. Any advice? Is this shipment time normal? The dress is by the brand all who wander and it’s only about $2000, so not even a super high end custom dress.

Did the boutique give an estimated time when you ordered your dress? You could write an email to All Who Wander to check both on the timeline and maybe expediting of the order. The delivery of dresses was longer in the 2021 and 2022 because of couples who had delayed their weddings during the covid fiasco. It seems designers should have recovered from that though.

The email seems to be obvious: service @ allwhowander .com

When I purchased my dress they said the normal lead time on it was 9 months. You could potentially call a seamstress and see if you can reserve time with them now for the estimated date the dress is supposed to come in.
