My fiancé and I have decided to downsize our reception for a ton of reasons. However, we’ve already sent out save the dates. We’ve decided to write everyone a nice letter. I’m curious what others have wrote in their “sorry you’re uninvited” letters? I really need some inspiration.

I was also looking for wording to uninvite guests just in case we decide to go that route, and I found this website that had a good email template for uninviting: https://theeverylastdetail.com/coronavirus-wedding-postponement-email-templates-to-send-to-guests/

They also had a few other templates for other scenarios (postponing, continuing as planned, etc).

I would say something along the lines that due to guest count limit restrictions at your venue due to covid you are only having immediate family there.

We had just sent out the invitations actually and then like a week later I designed this and sent them out.
