Hey Amanda! Welcome to WeddingWire!!! Smiley ring I would assume that most public parks are dog-friendly. What area of the country are you looking for a venue in?

They do exist. My venue is dog friendly, and my pup will be in the wedding & able to take photos. Where do you live?

***also worth mentioning, if you are having a dog friendly ceremony, and if you are planning on staying at a hotel before or after, you may want to book a dog friendly hotel as well.

There’s a few out there, but not many because of liability issues. Is there anyway you could do a park wedding?

We got married at a winery that is dog friendly. We didn’t include our dog though because we didn’t want it to be too overwhelming for him.

Okay great. I recommend you research public parks in your area. They are usually quite affordable to rent for events.

Alright, I can work with this. If you haven't already, I would take a peek through the WeddingWire vendor directory. It's got an option to search for pet friendly venues, which I've clicked on in the search below.

Pet-friendly venues in greater Hartford area

I would start your search there, see if there's anything that sparks some interest. And if none of them do, then maybe some of the places will serve as inspiration! Smiley smile

We got married at the Heritage Hotel in Southbury CT in September and it was pet friendly. Our little guy attended the ceremony and stayed overnight with us.

Fox Hill Inn in Brookfield, CT told me I could leave my dog in the groom’s suite during the wedding! We didn’t end up going with them but that was a plus!!

No, not at all! I was looking at September 12, 2020 and she quoted me $80 a plate not including their 20% service charge and state tax! You should definitely look into them, Linda was so nice and willing to work with our budget but we ended up going with a venue that was more of our speed. This place is very rustic and cute!!! Yes

I'm getting married at Wood Acres Farm in Terryville and they are dog friendly. They have pictures on their facebook page of dogs that are part of the ceremony .
