Does this sound crazy Nye theme wedding this summer??

We postpone our wedding for NYE.. that date means a little bit more to us due to our history and that’s 7years since we met. We are worried that come to December we may go back a phase and not able to have the wedding again.

We were thinking how about we do the ceremony and reception outdoors in the backyard and make it a NYE theme since we know how to contain the number of guest. Then possibly sign our marriage certificate this on NYE ? Does this sound crazy? Trying be creative and think about all options.

Hi Britani! I think you'll have a better chance at being able to have a celebration in December than this summer, so maybe the backyard celebration can be an NYE backup? ✨
Your officiant does need to sign the marriage license, so they will need to be involved whenever that part happens!
