Do you have wedding weight goals?

Deinara, on June 20, 2019 at 12:52 PM Posted in Fitness and Health 1 15
Are you trying to lose weight, gain weight, or maintain your weight for you precious day!? And what’s your plan? Currently I’d like to lose 20 pounds for my wedding day but if I stay like this I wouldn’t be too sad lol

I was trying to maintain but then I changed my mindset in that I wanted to do it for me and to be healthy in general and not specifically just for the wedding

It's not specifically before the wedding, but I'd like to lose 20lbs. I started before we even got engaged, it just gave me the little extra push!

I wanted to lose about 10 lbs, which I have in the last 6 months! My fiance wanted to go from a size 40 waist to a size 36. He is pretty tall (6'5") and does a lot of heavy lifting so he wasn't ever "overweight" just bulky from lifting & all the protein that goes with that. He didn't care what his true weight was, just that he was happy with his body!

FH and I both wanted to get in shape and with the wedding as a deadline it has really motivated us. We changed our eating habits, we count our calories, cut out soda, refined sugar, carbs, and eating out. We started going to the gym (cardio) in our apt complex. (it is now being remodeled so that is on hold). He has lost around 30 pounds and I have lost over 15 pounds! I don't go in for my alterations until July so I have about 1 month before I have to switch to just maintaining my weight. I'm hoping to lose another 10 pounds but we will see how it goes.

I am currently trying to gain 5 pounds for the wedding. I think it will help me fill out my dress a little more. Unfortunately it hasn't been as easy as I thought because stress makes me not want to eat. I'd like to exercise more, but can't right now because I'm afraid I'll lose more weight. It could help with the appetite though.

I would love to lose 30lbs by the big day and another 40 by the new year but it’s been a struggle. Just teetering back and forth from 267 and 258 since March. So frustrating 😩. I know I can do it I just need to try. Or try harder.😞😞😞

Trying to lose 15 lbs before my first dress fitting. I lost 65 lbs a few years ago but gained about 25 lbs back. I work out at and lift weights 4 days a week but I struggle with diet. I love food! It's hard for me to stick with a diet all week and not binge on the weekend... and hard to give up wine ! Hope I can do it!

I was wanting to lose about 50 lbs. FH says I absolutely should not lose more than 40 (i think he likes me a little chunky because my butts bigger lol). I actually met the 20.1 lb mark this AM. Just started eating a little better since April and the weights falling off. I want to get rid of at least 20lbs more by October.

I'm in a tizz with my weight. I've lost 19lbs since I got engaged (got my dress fairly early, and then panicked I wouldn't fit into it). Now I worry I've lost too much perhaps- but how do you tell? Had my fitting last week and my dress was huge. So she is taking it in, and told me that I just need to maintain now- no gain, no loss. But that is a lot harder than it sounds I am finding...

Sigh. I'll be glad when I can stop worrying about every little lb.

I am using my wedding as a goal date to finally lose the weight for me. Since Jan lost -25# and am -20# from my goal weight. I know I can get most of the way there by Aug, just have to keep focused! I’d even be happy if I was within 5-10# since I can lose that last little before my birthday in October. I always find goals dates helpful and it creates a “finish line” with maintenance on the other side.

I want to lose 12-20 pounds before my wedding day and also tone up! I am self conscious of my body type though when looking for dresses I have more of a pear shape, and I am trying not to get discouraged when my bottom half is larger than my top. I have been trrying to meal prep my meals with high protein, low carb and lots of vegetables and healthy fats. I am trying to make sure I eat breakfast every morning so I do not over eat throughout the day. I have not been working out much though yet due to my busy work schedule.

I am trying to lose. I am trying to lose over 100 lbs. I have 1 year until my big day so I am hoping it will be doable. If not, as long as I don't gain, I'll be fine.

I hired a personal trainer and have changed my eating habits. I am an older bride and my fiancé and I would like to have children shortly after getting married. I don't want to be a big bride and I don't want to be over weight when I am pregnant. I am pretty active now and struggle with PCOS so it makes it a bit harder to lose weight but I am determine.

I wanted to do it to shed some weight but I changed my mind and decided that I want to get healthier for my new life with my fiancé.
