Do you go to weddings solo?

I’ll go to a wedding if I’m invited When we were dating, I was sometimes invited alone. Now that we’re engaged, we’re always invited together!

Nope we always have gone together.

Nope! We've also never been put into that situation, though.

We were both invited to 9 weddings this year, some of them being out of town. We were able to attend them all, just not together. There is only so much money in our bank accounts and so much PTO available! lol. I went to one alone, and he went to two alone.

That's a great point! People tend to invite fiancés more than the people their guests are dating!

Depending on who it was and the circumstance I would go alone like if he had to work or there is a legit reason why someone thought it was appropriate to not invite him, but once we are married there really won't be a reason! Our MOH is doing a private ceremony and a large reception, and I keep joking about "we won't witness them get married" and he is like "fine I am not going," and I said "cool we don't need to get a dog sitter" and then he goes "fine I'll go!" It is funny because I don't think HE WANTS TO GO TO WEDDINGS! But honestly IF HE DIDN'T/DOESN'T ACTUALLY WANT TO GO TO MOH's WEDDING I WOULDN'T MAKE HIM, and I WOULD STILL GO WITHOUT HIM!

We have only had two weddings to attend since we've been a couple. One of them we attended together. The other was for his cousin and was out of state. I didn't have the vacation time from work to attend so he went alone.

We have been to 3 weddings and went together all 3 times

I’d go if I was invited, yes. Have either of us gone to a wedding solo since we’ve been together? No.

I’ve only ever been to one wedding and I was given a plus one so he joined. He’s been to one solo since we were together, but that was when we’ve only been together for like a month, so it would have been a bit too soon for that. We wouldn’t solo a wedding now though unless one of us had some reason they couldn’t join!

Sometimes!! We've "divided and conquered" and attended two different weddings on the same weekend, and if one of us is busy the other will still attend! There have also been a few weddings that required lots of travel when one of us is closer to the bride or groom and just one of us has attended.

We've only been invited to two weddings so far while we've been together and we attended both together. Neither of us have been invited without the other

I did once a few years ago but I had no one to go with me since there was travel involved and I was super single.

I haven't been invited to any weddings since we started going out so not yet!

Well I've been to only one wedding and I was a bridesmaid's plus one so I couldn't bring him. The latest wedding he went to was his dad's elopement on a cruise where the only guests were him and his siblings so I couldn't go. We've never actually been to a wedding together. The next wedding we'll be at together is our own!
