Do i need a rehearsal/rehearsal dinner?

Laura, on January 8, 2020 at 9:13 PM Posted in Planning 0 8
We will only have a Maid of Honor and Best Man. No bridesmaids or groomsmen. It is a small wedding, about 50 people. If we invite close family and out-of-town guests for the rehearsal, the list is about 30 people, so I'm thinking of forgoing the rehearsal and dinner. With a bridal party so small, I just don't think it's worth it. What are your thoughts?

Most adults can find their way down the aisle with minimal instruction. If you don’t want a rehearsal, skip it.

With a small bridal party I’m sure you can figure out what to do so you don’t have to have a rehearsal.

Haha That's exactly what I thought, too. I don't want to appear cheap, but I'm also trying to stay on budget. Thanks!

    Laura,
It's your wedding, you can do what you want, I happen to agree!
    Good luck!

We have a small wedding party and we will have a logistics meeting the night before - sort of who goes first and where. And a chance for me to get a feel what I’m doing that day. (Stairs-yuck!). We are going to invite everyone back to our hotel for cocktails, pizza, salad we will bring, dessert and early exit. We may go to a restaurant but one of our favorite pizza places is nearby. It doesn’t haven’t to be anything formal.

This is what I was going to suggest! It is really calming to at least nail down logistics and walk it before you have an important ceremony Smiley smile

I don't think you do. I had one but it's also cus I didn't have a doc for the ceremony and a lot of them weren't familiar with the venue to know what to do
