Do hashtags matter?

Not many people used our hashtag, which I anticipated since most of the people that attended our wedding don't really post on social media. It was still fun to come up with the hashtag and have it displayed on a sign, but it didn't do much in helping me search for guests' photos from our wedding.

It depends on the individual social circle. While we have many friends and family who use social media, none of them utilize hashtags for anything. So for us, it would be a waste. But another group may use them. That’s something to ask your group of friends and relatives

Our friend group wouldn’t use it, so we didn’t bother thinking of anything.

Apparently they’re out of trend 🙄 but if it’s something you like then go for it! If it’s so you can see all the pics people take you can also set up an email address and have everyone send the pics there; myweddingpics@gmail or something like that
