I used to keep my hair super short but have been growing it out since the engagement hoping for an easy long braid style for the wedding. But my hair is only to my shoulders now and I don't think it will be long enough by October. I am already planning to wear a crown of ivy and lily of the valley but still want something easy, kind of bohemian style, for the wedding that I can do myself. Our entire wedding is small and relaxed but I still want to feel beautiful when I walk down that aisle. We opted to not have attendants other than our adult sons so I can't even ask a bridesmaid to help. Any thoughts?

Why not just wear it down? You could do piece-y, beachy waves really easily with a curling iron. Just use a little bit of volumizing spray to give you some body and hold.

I initially wanted to do up and then take it down for my reception and do all that myself. so my MOH figured out to use a magic bun maker to easily do so if you're interested in that kind of thing for yourself.

This is what I'm looking to do for my hair. I found the ideas on pinterest.
Two braids that wrap around to form a crown of sorts. Although for me, I would need help because I can't braid my own hair to save my life! I can do others, not my own. Hope this gives you some inspiration.
