So we went fake flowers for everything. Our arch flowers and all the bouquets/boutonnières I got off Etsy from people that use fake wood flowers. They would just make them nicer than me lol. But for our tables we did the flowers ourselves. We bought sola wood flowers and dyed them ourselves (which is really just mixing paint in water and then dunking the flowers in). Then I bought stems off Amazon and glued them on and bought some fake greenery to add indiy flowers? 1

I'm using Ling's Moment! Relatively inexpensive and completely customizable for any look you could be going for. You can also supplement other florals and ribbon from craft stores because they tend to have sales. Ling's Moment has "sales" where you have to spend hundreds of dollars for it to count, so only buy what you need from them. Smiley smile

I am ordering some fake flowers from Amazon and watching sales at Hobby Lobby for things like bouquets and boutonnieres but I am also now considering a bridal bouquet similar to this picture. I was going to order a brooch bouquet that has satin fabric roses. However, this bouquet photo reminded me I always wanted a bouquet with these small little round balls. I can add in some more dark purple roses probably to achieve the desired look to go with our potential invitations too. My biggest challenge will probably be my allergies, so we shall see.

My colors are purple and peach. I am being flexible on shades of purple as all bridesmaids are out of state and 2 are flying into Iowa. One from Virginia and the other from Florida. I almost cannot wait!

Those are beautiful. My colors are Purple and Turquoise. This is my bouquet and my invitation layout. I will be having my invitations printed through Shutterfly.

What flowers are you planning? We are doing gerbera daisies and some greenery, using artificial flowers for my bouquet and anniversary dance bouquet. What we are doing is lieu of flowers is using props for bridesmaids to carry and for centerpieces. I already have some that I got from Hobby Lobby and I browse Amazon and FB marketplace.

Keeping in mind that DIY doesn’t always save money because you have to factor in time and labor at minimum wage per hour in addition to supplies, you may not save money in the end. Faux flowers that look real will typically cost more than fresh and then go in a landfill. We got flowers from FiftyFlowers.com and a local wholesale florist, then used tutorials online to assemble.
