Dinner 4 Two a scam?

If it's too good to be true, it usually is. A lot of those places lure you in with these type of offers, and then try to bait you into buying and/or selling their products. Be very cautious before accepting anything from businesses like this...

It's largely a scam. You have to sit through a really aggressive sales pitch for a couple hours to get anything.

FH and I went a few months ago. We were there for 45 minutes and the guy didn't even try hard to sell us the seriously overpriced ($3000) cookware. We were given a gift card good for 2 wedding bands through JVL. The bands aren't spectacular but will do and they come with a lifetime warranty. You only have to pay for the shipping and handling which is $25 for each ring. They also sent us another gift card with the rings we ordered.

Hey I got one of those calls and went to cooking class don't have to purchase the pots. But I got the wedding bands figures that covers the FH. As for trip there is a some type of fee to pay but not sure just have to read fine print.

This is real, but there is a catch. My fiance and I went to this and we had to watch this cooking class and yes they will try to make you buy cookware. We had the option of choosing between wedding bands, or a trip somewhere from selected places. We didn't like the wedding bands at all, and the trips you can't pick the dates to go on vacation. So it's whatever date they have available. So overall we didn't choose anything and we wasted an hour of our life.

They will spend the entire time trying to pressure you in to some commitment. Next time they call ask to be removed from their call list permanently (otherwise they will keep calling).

FH and I went to one of these. Honestly not even worth it. The products they try to sell you is over priced and the guy who talked to us got a little insulted we didn't want to buy them.

We got the free wedding bands and champagne glasses with our names and wedding date engraved. It was an hour long sales pitch and you aren't obligated to buy anything, free food, free wedding bands, and free glasses is a win in my book!

What @RATR said^^. I went to an expo in January and went to their booth and they called me a few days later and said I won those prizes as well as long as I sat through their presentation. It sounded kind of like one of those timeshare scams to me, so I did some research and decided against accepting my "gift". Even though I've denied the gift, I still get a phone call once every few months (including yesterday!) trying to give me the same pitch-- I just ignore and block!

I preregistered for a bridal expo I didn't even end up going to. The expo was June 12th and I'm still getting emails every few days from vendors thanking me for stopping at their booth and saying I won bouquets, honeymoons, jewelry, etc... So I think definitely a scam

Just got this phone call not once but four times today... Ughhh i knew it was a scam but FH was excited about it.

We went to the same thing last night. We got the gift card for the free wedding bands, and the champagne glasses with our names engraved and the vacation. The guy that did the show did an amazing job. He didn’t try to push the cookware and even told us if we’d like to shop elsewhere he’d tell us the kind of cookware to look for. Although we were very impressed with the whole thing and plan on purchasing some cookware later down the road

Hey, So my fiance and I actually attended one of their meetings and it is legit. There is always a catch to things, but the gifts are real. We received everything they said they would give us. It was a great visit. We were skeptical as well at first but we gave it a shot. Now we are going to the Bahamas courtesy of Dinner4two.

I went to pot and pan meetings tonight. Pots are 3k which is way too much for me. I have been reading comments about how all the gifts are scams. However, the rings are free. You only have to pay $25 for shipping. The glasses are free with another $25 for shipping and tax. The vacation is pretty much free. You have to pay $100 for them to hold the room but it refundable once you get there and $78 for taxes. Someone please correct me if I’m wrong. However, that doesn’t seem like a bad deal. At least the vacation portion. Small fees for these huge gifts. Someone please tell me if I’m missing something, after reading all the scam comments.. I’m not following how it’s a scam. Has anyone gone on the vacation?
