Did you take before and after photos of your wedding makeup?

I never wear makeup either, like literally just chapstick and I’m good to go lol but for my wedding I decided to get my makeup done. I was worried about not looking like myself, but my hair and makeup team was amazing and really followed my vision - they did airbrush on me since I’ve never worn foundation and they wanted me to feel lightweight and comfortable. I felt amazing and it stayed all night - I’d say get a trial done if possible and see how you feel! I didn’t get before and after pictures done the day of, but this is me out without makeup and then some pictures from my wedding day

I just saw your other posts too and I was originally planning on getting married without any makeup and I think my day still would have been perfect, but it was nice to be pampered for a day. If you don’t want to, don’t feel pressured too! I know a lot of people say photos come out bad without makeup, but I didn’t wear makeup for my engagement shoot and photographed fine - hope this helps!!

Hi MaddieCaddy. I don't wear makeup daily, but told my MUA I prefer glam over natural. My before is the welcome dinner night before (sans makeup). For wedding look, I asked for sunset colors on my eyes & nude/pink lips. Black eyeliner hid my existing lash extensions so we put giant fake lashes. Curled my grown out pixie haircut, natural color.

Oh forgot to add, I wanted face makeup to soak up my oily-prone skin & to hide any Asian redness from drinking alcohol. I tested these measures after my trial.

I love that look on you. Nice having a plane in the background too. One thing the glam look helped do is give definition to your face even when capturing the airplane in the background.

Great pics. I can see how the extra definition of facial features were worthwhile. It would have been quite nice without makeup too.

This was literally before I got my makeup done and I do not typically wear makeup.

Not really different. Both are me. Going fake natural is not me. My wedding was black tie formal. I suppose for a casual wedding, bare face can be pulled off without looking unfinished in a big, white dress.

Unrelated, but I can tell by the floor and background we had our weddings at the same venue I absolutely LOVE your dress!

My photographer took “getting ready” photos so there are pictures of me without makeup. I did my own makeup on my wedding day, and my bridal portraits were done at the very end. We got married on the hottest day of the year, so I’m shocked It held up as well as It did! Wear what you are comfortable with! I wanted to look like “me” on my wedding day.

Why do others need to go along with it? Of course people in a wedding party know they will be participating in photos at the event, but there's no reason that anyone other than you needs to have "before and after photos" done. Let people get ready for your wedding in peace and have photos done when everyone feels ready.

Here’s my before and after of hair and makeup. My hair got fuzzy after 4 hours. I’d love tips on how to keep it tame so it can last longer.
