on August 16, 2020 at 1:18 AM Posted in Maryland Planning 0 2
Did anyone have or is having a destination wedding? If so where and how did it turned out, if planning how is the planning going. I’m actually looking for over all details as far as guess, hotel rooms, the ceremony and reception. We are planning on doing one we want a beach ceremony and then have our reception on yacht. 30 people Total.
Thanks

Hi there!! I think your beach and boat plans sound awesome! 🌟

For destination weddings I think it's a great idea to pick a venue with a pretty comprehensive wedding package (so you only have to contact 1 company to manage several elements), or to work with an awesome wedding planner who can really take the reins and help you plan!

We got married on the beach in Florida in 2019 and we are from Maryland also. It definitely is a bit tricky from far away but it’s doable with a good planner on site. Things are a bit tricky with COVID and I would be sure you are covered in any contract if this virus continues. Destination weddings are fun but more expensive for your guests so keep that in mind. Good luck!
