I'd love to meet you all, know what your colors are, inspiration, theme, what your gown looks like, where you are getting married, and any other details you may wish to share. Together we can all plan the most perfect December weddings!

We are having a private Christmas wedding in Natchez, MS at a fabulous historic mansion now an Inn. Can't wait!! We will have about 12 guests ( immediate family and witnesses). It's 3 hours from our hometown. So a mini destination wedding. Our colors are pale pink, burgundy, ivory, and rose gold. My wedding gown is a warm, pale pink named Meena by Martin Thornburg. My shoes are Jimmy Choo's that I bought on FARFETCH for a bargain. I love how sparkly they are. My purse is sitting in my skirt ruffles and its by Mary Frances ( that is the true color of my dress, more warm pink than in designer pics). I'm a veil designer so I'm hoping to have a hatbox cake similar to this, but a bit more elaborate. Ha! Ha! We are planning a 3:00pm ceremony. We are going to mini-moon at this Inn in their gorgeous bridal suite. Planning a very large black-tie wedding reception for May. Here are a few photos of what we have going on so far for our Christmas Wedding. I have fallen in love with that bouquet. Another WW bride had it as her photo and she kindly sent it to me.

The fur-baby pictured is my 13 1/2 year old service dog named Gaston. He will be our Pup Of Honor, God-willing.

I hope we all become the best of friends during this most exciting and stressful times of our lives!! 😂 Big hug to each of you!! 💕💖

Hi! Fellow decemeber bride here. I told my fiancé that December was my dream wedding month and he said that he wanted me to have what I have always dreamed about. We are getting married decemeber 7th at a venue called the winsome grace. It is an absolutely gorgeous restored historical building. It has two secret passageways! Our insipiration is Disney Christmas two things we both love. We will have elements of both in the wedding. We are planning for about 120 people.

Our wedding colors are christmas red, ivory and gold. My dress is perfect for decemeber. I was able to find a perfect dress at David’s bridal that was a little over my budget but has sleeves and will work so great in decemeber. We will have a Disney cake among other things. We will have Christmas decorations for the centerpieces. My bouquet is being currently assembled to get a pre approval photo of the changes I want To make to have it red and gold with dahlias added. It will have white gold tipped roses red dahlias and gold foliage.

We we are going to Maui for the honeymoon and stopping at Disneyland on the way home for the honeymoon. Super excited to continue planning and preparing.

Thank you so much Priate & 60s Bride!! I love our venue, too. You should see the bridal suite. It'll be such a hardship to spend 5 nights there! 😉 Ha! Ha! Ha! You have been a rock for me during this crazy time in my life. Always so supportive and helpful. It won't be rescheduled, again! No one to interfere this time. YAY!! I truly cannot wait. I'm very ill right now, but my doctors think they can get me well enough for December. So I'm thrilled and we ARE doing this thing!! 2019 is going to be a great year. I'll finally be a Mrs. YAY!!

I wish I had sleeves, but I don't. I'm going to get a stole in case it's cold. In MS it can be 72 during parts of December or it can be 32. I'll find out in about 300 days. 😉

I wanted To get the winter cape like thing but I haven’t been able to justify it because of the price of them ☹️ It will probably be 30-40 in wa. I’m hoping so badly for a light dusting of snow for pictures 🤞

I'm also December 2019! Unfortunately, I don't have easy access to pics right now but hopefully I can get on and post some soon. We are getting married December 14 in SoCal. Our ceremony will be at our church, but our reception will be at a hall that used to be an old bank. It's gorgeous and they dress it up for Christmas so I am very excited to use their decor to help decorate the place. I also have a long sleeve gown and our colors are maroon and hopefully navy, if I can convince FH. So excited, it seems so far, but still so soon!

I'm designing our Christmas invitations on Basic Invite. I found one perfect for us. Need to order a sample and they give WW brides 20% off. Waiting to hear from our baker, photographer and videographer. We are going to get a print of a paddle-wheeler from Etsy for our guest book. Appropriate for Natchez right on the mighty Mississippi. Need a minister. I may not have attendants. Won't know until closer in. I'm going to have my bouquet preserved. Found someone not too far away. SO MUCH LEFT TO DO. 😂😂😂😂

Oh nice! We have to get my fh measured so we can order his custom suit from England (he saw it and had to have it) I have to find envelopes to fit our invites. (When I ordered I thought it came with the gold envelopes but I mis read the listing ☹️ I dont want plain white ones) I can order them from the company but I have to pay a large amount of shipping I somt Want to pay. (The invites came from China) other than that we are thankfully in a peaceful rest time before getting everything else like the guest book ect. My dress comes in sometime between next month and April. Yay!

Maroon and navy looks awesome together! My fh liked a navy suit but it’s not in our wedding colors so we ultimately decided against it.

Hey, you deserve that bridal suite after all of life's ups & downs and the wedding rescheduling (stressful enough).
We loved our DW with 15 guests!! Comforting saying vows in front of fewer people and it felt like one big loud dinner party. You'll have such an amazing time with a small guest list. An awe-inspiring venue with your nearest & dearest is purely magical.

Hi! Nice to meet you. ❤ So glad you joined this discussion!! An old bank sounds beautiful. We have an old bank in our town that is now the utility headquarters. I'm shocked everytime I walk in because it has gorgeous crystal chandeliers and a marble floor. It was built in the 1870's I think. I love maroin and navy!! That will be so lovely!! Stay in touch. I can't wait to see his suit. My FH and I found an American Kilt company ( think that is the name), but the UK has been making them longer than us! FH may be ordering his wedding attire from an American branch of a UK company. He wants to wear a formal morning suit. If he rents, I have a local place. Time will tell. Your invites sound lovely!! I'd love to see one. I can't wait for your gown to arrive!! That is always SO exciting!! Isn't this fun?

I am also a December bride from the south, Alexandria, La to be exact! I actually have a lot of family in Natchez & spent so much time there as a kid. It is such a beautiful, quaint town & the perfect place to get married!
I love that you're including your fur baby in your special day! We wanted to have our Stella there but we are having the ceremony in the cathedral so no dogs allowed she was in our engagement photos & we are planning on naming a cocktail after her for the reception & getting a cute little sign made. found this on etsy & fell in love!!

other than that, the bridesmaids will be wearing a light taupe & the groomsmen will wear black tuxes. i originally wanted an all white wedding but FH wouldn't go for it. our reception is just down the street at the historic hotel bentley & we will have trolleys (or streetcars, whatever you call them!) to transport those who cannot walk more than a block. I'm expecting a lot of greenery, string lights, & a mix of antique & modern accents.
i just started making my guest list (FH hasn't made his yet) & I'm already up to 180 people, yikes! we are estimating 300 invites, so maybe 150-200 will actually show up.
